Pat Miller
Pat Miller is the co-founder and
director of Be Bold Coaching and Consulting, dedicated to supporting clients
and advocating for the special needs community. With a focus on creating a safe
space, she helps families set goals and develop strategies to reduce stress and
lead fulfilling lives.
As a parent of a 23-year-old son
with profound autism, Pat understands the challenges faced by families with IDD
and severe disabilities. Over the past 20 years, she has supported hundreds of
families in educational, social, and emotional contexts, leveraging her
insights to help navigate these complexities.
Before Be Bold, Pat co-founded
Beloved Bath, a company aimed at providing meaningful employment for
individuals with autism. She frequently speaks to various organizations,
advocating for those without a voice. Recently, she became the State Chair for
the National Council for Severe Autism NJ Chapter, working to secure essential
resources and policies for vulnerable populations.
With over 25 years in healthcare
administration, Pat previously directed the Cancer Center at Saint Barnabas
Medical Center, where she created the Special Needs Ambassador Program to
enhance patient experiences for families with special needs.
A certified life coach, Pat holds a
master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from NYU and a post
baccalaureate certificate in applied behavior analysis from Caldwell
University. She has developed early intervention programs and helped establish
a school for children with autism. Pat has been married to her husband, Vince,
for 30 years, and has twin sons, Vincent and Philip, and a son, John, who has
profoundly influenced her life.
